Understanding the challenges families face 24 hours a day, the Adult Day Center aims to provide all participants with a safe and supportive environment. The individualized and group activities stimulate the mind and spirit to bring joy and satisfaction to the lives of those adults who are affected by memory loss. The Center provides family members with the support needed to allow them to work outside the home or enjoy much-needed respite time.
The Adult Day Center offers:
- Music, art, and pet therapy
- Interaction with children and peers
- Exercise programs
- Games and crafts
- Nutritious snacks and lunch
- Spiritual growth activities
- Memory enhancement activities
- Safe and monitored environment
- HATS service available
- Trained professionals and caring volunteers
Optional services include:
- Personal care
- Physical, occupational, and speech therapy (covered under Medicare Part B)
- Medication management
Services offered: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Additional time and/or financial assistance is available upon request.
