Memory Care Neighborhood

Our memory care neighborhood provides special care for individuals diagnosed with dementia and caters to all payer sources. Our compassionate, skilled staff and stimulating activities make our clients feel at home.

The Memory Neighborhood at Birchaven Village offers:

• Activities designed to challenge the cognitive abilities of residents in order to maintain cognitive function.
• Group and individual activities tailored to personal interests.
• Sensory stimulation using pleasant aromas throughout the neighborhood. Music and spa bathing are used to encourage a calm atmosphere.
• Special occasion celebrations and special performances.

It is our goal to provide each resident the support needed to maintain as much independence as possible for as long as possible. This is accomplished through a structured and nurturing environment that allows residents to do things for themselves, including normal daily living activities.
